Children and Youth
…the LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Deut. 6:4-7
We believe that Scripture calls parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their children. With this in mind, our Children's/Youth Ministry aims to partner with parents in teaching their children about who God is—and who we are as a result. Below you will find information about all of our regular activities for kids at The Parkway Church, from Preschool to High School.

9:00a-10:00a (during Theological Equipping Classes)*
10:30a-12:00p (during our Weekend Service)
Our Preschool Ministry meets during our Weekend Service and Theological Equipping Classes on Sunday mornings. We spend our time teaching from the Scriptures, singing songs, dancing, playing, laughing, and providing resources to equip parents to continue to engage their kids with the truth of who God is and what He has done for the world through the work of His Son, Jesus.
Our volunteers are required to be trained and screened, and we maintain strict teacher-to-child ratios to ensure safe care. For health standards, children must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours. Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have.
Child Wellness Policy:
For health standards, and for the sake of all involved in our Preschool Ministry, we require that children be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours. Please let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have. If your child is ill, he/she will not be able to participate that week in our Preschool Ministry. Here are some signs of sickness:
Persistent runny nose with substantial discharge
Hacking or wet-sounding cough
Children's (Elementary) Ministry:
Children's Equipping Classes - 9:00a-10:00a*
In our Children’s Equipping Classes, we learn about who God is and what He is like. We also learn that we are all sinners, in need of the grace dispensed by God’s Son, Jesus, who redeemed us by His sacrifice on the cross, and gives us hope in His resurrection from the dead. We learn through singing, Bible teaching, and prayer led by adult volunteers.

Youth (High School & Middle School) Ministry:
Sunday Night, 5:30p-7:30p in the Fellowship Hall*
On Sunday nights from 5:30p-7:30p, we gather for a time of singing, Bible teaching, and smaller groups to magnify the glory of Jesus, learn together, and grow in Gospel-centered unity together in love for God and good works (Heb. 10:24).
*Our Children's Equipping Classes, Theological Equipping Classes, Community Groups, and Youth do not officially meet during the months of December and July.
