God has called us to live our lives in community with other believers.
We see this both in the early church and in the New Testament itself. Acts 2:42-47 says, "And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers... And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."
Throughout the Old and New Testament, we are compelled toward community. Community Groups are but one venue for us to pursue faithfulness to this call.
Community Groups are small gatherings of believers that meet throughout the week* for the purposes of Bible study, prayer, confession, accountability, service, evangelism, and fellowship. Our hope is that we would bring glory to God through these groups by making disciples in biblical fellowship with one another.
