Theological Equipping Class
Sundays at 9:00am*
We believe that everyone is a theologian; but, the Bible compels us to be good ones.
Our Theological Equipping Classes aim to equip the people of Parkway to be good theologians—to think rightly about God and His Kingdom—for the sake of making disciples in our homes, neighborhoods, offices, and beyond.
For example, how many of us feel equipped to have a conversation with someone about how God can be one God, and also three persons? Or how well would you answer your neighbor’s question about how God can be good and yet the world is full of evil? How can we trust the Bible if we don’t have the original manuscripts? Or why do Christians seem to uphold some Old Testament prohibitions, but not others?
Dealing with questions like these is at the heart of our classes. We spend about an hour diving deep into various theological topics, with a few minutes of Q&A at the end of each class—not as a means of becoming theological know-it-alls, but to think about our God and the Christian faith rightly, so that we might love Him more and be sanctified through our ever increasing love for our infinite God.
We hope you'll come check out a class and join us in treasuring truth together!
*Our Theological Equipping Classes meet each Sunday from 9:00am to 10:00am with the exception of the months of December and July. We take breaks from these classes because we believe that regular rhythms of rest are important in the life of the believer.
